We as youthworkers at BBC are committed to serving the church in seeing young people introduced to who Jesus is, what His teaching is about and how to grow in a relationship with him. The majority of youthworkers are voluntary.  

Gary Bott.  Youthwork Director (email) 

Gary has been Youthwork Director at BBC for over three years now. Gary is married to Katie and has three boys. Gary trained as a carpenter after leaving school and ran his own gardening/lanscaping business until God called him into full time youth work. His passion is to see young people introduced to Jesus and grow in their Faith. His interests are American cars, Truck Racing, Bonsai and Tottenham.

Ruth Jackson - Year Out Volunteer (email) 

Ruth has just started a year out with BBC. She will be helping out with many aspects of the youth work here. She has just completed her A levels, with good results.

 

Giles & Michelle Goodeve - Radi8  (email) 

Giles and Michelle are co leaders of the 14 group Radi8. They work alongside a good team of leaders. Giles grew up at BBC and went through the various youth groups of old. He is a Social worker and is married to Michelle. They have a year and a half old son and a newborn boy. Both Giles and Michelle are passionate about seeing young Christians discipled as they move into adulthood 

Phil Walker - Motiv8 (email) 

Phil has recently taken over from Barry and Claire who have left youth work to have a baby. Phil is married to Tracey and has to girls. Phil has a passion to see you people taught the truths of God and wants to put back into the lives of young people the stuff he was taught. Phil loves american cars and was once UK drag racing champion.

Andy & Katie Gowland (email) - Andy & Katie run the new youth group at Sunnymede chapel for year 7s. They are both junior school teachers and have a real heart to gather the local youngsters who come up from the childrens work on a Tuesday at Sunnymede. Katie and Andy are also part of the band Was Broken. Andy also runs the adult football team with his brother Simon.
