Motiv8

Motiv8 is our long standing youth club for years 7 - 10 (ages 11 - 14) We meet from 7 - 8.30pm. Motiv8 aims to create a safe environment for young people to come along and enjoy meeting with friends.

We have such activities as PS2, XBOX, Wii, pool, cafe, chill out room and much more.

We also have a 'God Slot' halfway through the evening which aims to look at teenage life and lifestyle issues from a Christian perspective.

We at Motiv8 also look to raise up a new generation of leaders and if appropriate we give the opportunity for the leaving year 10's to help out in setting up the evening, when they come back as year 11's. (We also have opportunities to help out in other areas of childrens work if appropriate.)

Motiv8 is run by Gary Bott (email) and an ever dedicated team.

Motiv8 has an entrance cost of 50p each time. Running a youth club is not cheap and equipment does get damaged. It also gives those attending a sense of ownership.

BB Company                                                                                    

As part of the Youthwork here, we support the organisation of the Boys Brigade. BB has been part of this church for many years and many boys and men can say that this organisation helped them in life.

In the Youthwork we have Company Section for lads in the age range of 11-14 (years 7-10). They meet from 8-9pm on Tuesdays.

We have a dedicated team of guys from the church, who help see these lads develop into young men.

Such activities include Model making, Sports, Life skills, BB camp, bowling, mega zone.

We also run BB for younger boys on Thursday evenings 6 - 7.30pm from age 7.

Radi8

Radi8 is a youth group run for youth aged 14 - 18. A group where there is no pressure but just to enjoy having a place set aside for you to 'get away from it all.'

We meet on Tuesday nights from 8.45 - 10.15pm and it is open for all teens in this age range.

We cover a range of activities, including PS2, pool, volleyball and chill out room.

We also offer chances to attend Youth alpha course and bible study. If however you just wanted to chill out, then thats cool.

Radi8 also has social events that are run termly and normally run on other nights of the week. Watch out for info on the 'whats happening' page - click Such events are, cinema, bowling, swimmimg etc.
